Classic Morocco Tour / 11 Days, 10 nights

Day 1 Casablanca (D)
Upon arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, you will be met and transferred by shuttle bus to your Casablanca hotel. Depending on arrival time, the group will visit the city, including an optional visit to the Hassan II, one of the world's biggest mosques.

Day 2 Rabat / Fez (B, D)
After breakfast, the group will leave by van towards Fez. On route, you will stop at Rabat, the capital city and residence of the King, for lunch and a time to enjoy the beautiful coastal city. After lunch you will continue on to Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco.

Day 3 Fez (B, D)
After breakfast you will begin our guided tour of the Fez medina, one of the world's largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the King's Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places we will experience. For lunch you will eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will complete the tour and return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 4 Volubilis / Meknes / Fez (B, D)
After an early breakfast, you will set out in the morning to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. The group will spend the morning exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire. Lunch will be taken in Mulay Idris, one of the holiest cities in Morocco. After lunch, your guide will take you on a bus tour of the imperial city, Meknes. You will return to Fez in the evening for dinner.

Day 5 Erfoud (B, D)
After an early breakfast you will begin your ascent across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend into the Sahara Desert.

Day 6 Sahara Desert (B, D)
In the afternoon, you will head off in some 4-wheel drive vehicles across the barren land to the majestic Sahara sand dunes. You will set off by camel for a 2-hour trek out to the oasis where you will spend the night in Berber tents ***this could be optional if you would prefer to return to the hotel to sleep***

Day 7 Todra Gorges (B, D)
After breakfast, you will return by camel to the 4x4s and head back to Erfoud. From Erfoud you set out behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to the Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, you will take a walk up in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high). The picturesque river valleys make for a beautiful journey towards the southeast of Morocco.

Day 8 Marrakech (B, D)
After an early breakfast you set off to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. You will visit one of the jewels of Morocco - Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered... usually off the beaten path. After lunch, you will head over the mountains to Marrakech.

Day 9 Marrakech (B, D)
After breakfast, the group will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures.

Day 10 Casablanca (B, D)
Your last day of travel will take you back to Casablanca where you began your voyage 10 days before.

Imperial Morocco Tour / 8 Days, 7 nights

Day 1 Casablanca (D)

Day 5 Marrakech (full day drive) (B, D)
After an early breakfast, the group will depart for Marrakech. The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains and along the base of the High Atlas Mountains.
Once in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel and then head off to the Djemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina. The famous Djemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides a spectacular aerial view of the bustling square.

Day 6 Marrakech (B, D)
After breakfast, the group will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market).

Day 7 Marrakech / Casablanca (B, D)
Your last day of travel will be in Marrakech. Free time will be given for any who wish to have some final shopping time in the old medina. In the afternoon, you will return back to Casablanca.

South Morocco Tour / 8 Days, 7 nights

Day 1 Marrakech (D)
Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver / guide. You will be transferred to your hotel where you will be given time to settle in and freshen up.

Day 2 Marrakech (B, D)
After breakfast, the group will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace if the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, the Menara Basin and many other hidden treasures. Lunch will be taken in one of the finest traditional restaurants in Marrakech. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit.

Day 3 Marrakech / Ouarzazate / Zagora (B,D)
After breakfast you depart for Ouarzazate over the High Atlas Mountains through the Tichka Pass. Keep your eyes open for the Berber villages tucked away in the mountain side. In the afternoon, you will tour Aït Benhaddou, one of the world's most magnificent Kasbahs; this setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco. You will set off through the Draa Valley to Zagora, the edge of the Sahara Desert. You can choose to stay in a small hotel on the edge of the dunes or sleep in the Berber tents.

Day 4 Zagora/ Erfoud (280 km) (B, D)
After an early breakfast, you will set out across the barren desert land in your 4 wheeled drive vehicles. You will experience the desolate vastness of the edge of the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival in Erfoud, take some time to relax and freshen up. In the evening, you will enjoy a camel trek in the dunes for the sunset. You will return to you hotel for the dinner. ***For those wishing for adventure, you may choose to sleep out at the dunes***

Day 5 Erfoud / Todra Gorges (B, D)
After an early breakfast, the group will depart for the Todra Gorges. On the way you may stop for an exploration of this Berber village. The trip through the beautiful Amellago Valley will consist of some normal roads and some dirt tracks. You will continue through the picturesque Todra River Valley, which makes for a beautiful journey towards the final destination for today, the magnificent, colossal Todra Gorges (600 feet). Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 6 Todra Gorges / Ouarzazate (B, D)
After breakfast, the group will depart for Ouarzazate along the road of 1000 kasbahs. On route, you will visit the beautiful Dades Valley and stop for lunch at Elkalaa of M'Gouna, the city of roses. After lunch you will visit the Kasbahs of Taourirt and Tifoulout, and then on to Ouarzazate. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 7 Ouarzazate / Marrakech (B, D)
Your last day of travel will take you back to Marrakech, over the High Atlas Mountains.

Day 8 Marrakech (B)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
